A few years ago, we asked for your help in reaching a goal to raise $20,000.00. We have reached it! Thank you to all who contributed! Every denomination made a difference and we are grateful for those who were able to help us successfully reach our goal! We couldn't have done it without each and everyone of you! With your contributions we were able to provide: 419 Activities and Services 492 Health and Wellness classes 44 Educational Topics All services, activities and programming were utilized over 15,000 times. In addition, 94,000+ referrals or information was given out to walk ins or telephone calls. 45,000 meals were cooked by Catholic Charities, who occupy our kitchen facility. This is a testament that our efforts to continue to offer a welcoming place to meet, share activities and gather together is desirable in our community! We are again asking for your continuous support. Your tax deductible contribution allows us t continue to provide much needed outreach through quality programming, interactive opportunities, and educational services. We are able to focus on the needs at hand and continue to provide the necessary recreational activities and socialization to prevent isolation among our older companions.
GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY! Mention the Senior Center! A & C Automotive has taken part in giving back to the community. 5% of parts and labor from any invoice from any customer will be donated to the center! Do you take your car there for an oil change, or tire rotation? You're already half way there- next step, just mention the Senior Center and giving back to the community! Simple as that! Did you get a new cell phone lately? Do you still have your first cell phone because you don't know what to do with it? Donate them to the Senior Center! We receive funds from Phoneraiser, for each donated phone! ** All phones and conditions accepted, accessories such as chargers are not needed.
We understand in this economy, most are struggling, just as we are. But there's other opportunities to help the center, without writing us a check! Something as simple as an internet searching, can generate money to the center! Just go to www.goodsearch.com.
